**The Opportunity**

We have an opportunity for a Manager ICT Risk, Security and Information Governance to be part of our Corporate Division within the Department of Primary Industries and Regions.

The ICT Risk, Security & InfoGov Business Unit (BU) assists PIRSA, and other agencies that consume ICT assets and services from PIRSA, to make well-informed risk management decisions. The BU consults and collaborates closely with the Risk and Assurance Branch within the Corporate Services division to strengthen ICT risk governance, culture, and accountability, along with maturing the management and oversight of ICT risks and mitigating controls. The BU works across ICT to ensure the South Australian Cyber Security Framework (SACSF) and PIRSA’s Risk Management Framework (RMF) are implemented and operating effectively. By continually assessing ICT risks and strengthening controls, the BU helps PIRSA improve its operational resilience.

The primary purpose of the Manager ICT Risk, Security & Information Governance role is to lead the design and implementation of the following pillars:

- ICT Risk Management - design and implement the formal accountability, leadership, structure, systems, policies, processes, resources, training, and reporting used to support risk management, legal and regulatory compliance, and the effective management and oversight of ICT and cyber security.
- Cyber Security - design and implement a cyber security capability commensurate with the size and extent of threats to ICT assets and services, and which enables the continued sound operation of PIRSA.
- ICT Resilience - management and oversight of risks related to the design, implementation, management and recovery of ICT assets and services (internal and externally sourced through related parties and third parties),
- Information Governance - lead the development, implementation and ongoing management of the PIRSA Information Governance framework, including establishing policies and guidelines, to ensure clear and effective information governance practices are in place.

More broadly the role contributes to the delivery of PIRSA’s strategic objectives and the management of risks to primary industry sectors in a manner commensurate with PIRSA’s risk appetite. The role will also consult and collaborate with agencies that consume ICT assets and services from PIRSA to ensure related risks and controls are managed in line with their expectations and risk appetite.

**Requirements**:

- Out of hours work and intrastate travel may be required.

- It is essential that the incumbent holds a valid certification to an internationally recognised information security standard and/or risk management standard.
- An appropriate qualification in information systems, computer science or information technology; or certified ICT skills qualification from a recognized organization; or extensive relevant industry experience is required.
