**About the role...**

*You will be an integral part of the bakery team working alongside skilled bakers & chefs, reporting to the Head Baker.
- Responsible for daily baking duties including but not limited to preparing ingredients, weighing, mixing, hand shaping, laminating and baking.
- Minimum 2 years experience with mixing doughs of naturally leavened breads, yeasted doughs and pastry is essential.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and passionately, following detailed instructions while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Contribute creative ideas and suggestions while respecting established processes and recipes.
- Enjoy exposure to quality ingredients and suppliers and the freedom to be creative and experimental.
- Effectively communicate with the team to ensure that production is efficient and consistent and that quality standards are always met.
- Take initiative when needed and problem-solve independently during busy production periods.
- Ensure the bakery/kitchen is of the highest quality standard of cleanliness at all times. Casual Position, days flexible, morning starts (3am) in boutique, family friendly operation.

**About you**

*Be highly structured and organised with outstanding communication skills both written & verbal
- Be dependable, reliable, and hands-on with a strong work ethic
- Have a positive attitude and contribute to our inclusive, welcoming culture
- Demonstrate incredible attention to detail with consistent performance
- Possess creative & technical flair - enjoy experimenting with techniques & flavours while maintaining quality standards
- Be adaptable and able to pivot between independent work and collaborative team projects
- Be passionate about quality baking with 3+ years experience in a bakery environment
- Hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to Caringbah South
- Shifts flexible based on availability, however morning starts (between 3am - 5am) are essential.
- Be trade qualified and eligible to work full time in Australia (Sponsorship is not available at present)

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $32.06 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
