**The Opportunity**:
ElectraNet’s Operational Technology team is about to embark on significant program of work designed to support improved business processes and increased efficiency, resulting in this full-time position being created.

Operational technology is hardware and software that detects or causes a change, through the direct monitoring and/or control of industrial equipment, assets, processes, and events. ElectraNet’s Operational Technology controls assets for the transmission of electricity.

It is critical to our System Monitoring and Switching Centre which provides continuous 24/7 real time management of the South Australian Transmission System, some 100 substations, more than 6000 circuit kilometres of transmission line and two interconnectors. This includes the direct oversight of distribution assets, the performance of which directly impacts the Transmission System.

**About You**:
To be successful in securing this position you will have extensive management and planning experience, ideally 10+ years. You will have well developed skills in managing teams in the delivery of business-as-usual support while implementing functionality changes. This will be done with a combination of vendor management, coaching, and mentoring of staff and working in partnership with key business stakeholders.
