
Legal Operations Assistant

The Legal Operations Assistant will support the operations of the Asia Pacific Legal Department for DXC. Reporting to the Regional Head of Legal Operations, this role supports the operations of a team of busy professionals in a fast-paced environment from various locations in Australia, India, Singapore and China.
**Requirements and Competencies**
- 3+ years’ experience in an administrative role
- BA/BS or equivalent education preferred
- Experience working in a project-oriented environment
- Highly organized and professional
- Comfortable working with a global team, and speaking regularly to people in different regions
- Enjoys a fast paced, dynamic and challenging environment
- Self-starter who demonstrates initiative and an ability to multi-task
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer service oriented and proactive, with the ability to anticipate requests and identify and resolve issues before they materialize
- Capable with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Comfortable with technology and learning to how to operate new tools
- You MUST have the right to work in Australia, either as a citizen or a permanent resident.
**Responsibilities**
- Being a critical member of the Legal Operations team, and reporting to the Regional Head of Legal Operations
- Assisting with talent operations and strategy of the Legal team, recruiting, on-boarding, organizational structure and staffing models
- Assisting with regional and local meetings cadence and planning
- Assisting with knowledge management and sharing of best practices, including maintaining databases of training programs
- Involvement in projects, both local and global, including reporting on progress
- Assisting with dispatch of deals and disputes when required
- Supporting rollout of new and improved tools and technology as required
- Assisting in the creation of playbooks as required to improve the Legal team’s operations
- Monitoring and tracking outside counsel, using internal tools
- Assisting the Asia Pacific team with team events, travel and expenditure
