**The Role**:

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement strategy and operational plans dedicated to Risk & Compliance and Health, Safety & Environment
- Ensure new legislative requirements are adopted and successfully implemented
- Review and refine systems, processes and tools
- Reporting and communication to senior management and other internal stakeholders
- Act as the Workcover Coordinator
- Ensure the development, communication and successful execution of a systemic framework of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- Be proactive and thoughtful to anticipate problems, provide solutions and develop quality/mutually beneficial relationships
**Key Selection Criteria**:
- Accomplished HSE professional with a strong background in Risk Assessment
- Excellent working knowledge of Workers Compensation and Work Cover
- Degree qualification highly regarded, however not essential
- Lead Auditor in OHS Management Systems, Training & Assessment, Injury Claims and/or Environmental Management Practices & Processes in Building & Construction qualifications
- Staff management experience
- Honest, trustworthy and high level of integrity
- Ability to manage time across multiple business units, prioritise and work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to effectively analyse and interpret data, laws and regulations
- Strong decision making, negotiation and problem solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must hold a current and valid motor vehicle licence
