ResourceCo has an exciting leadership opportunity in their fast-growing tyre recycling sector. They deliver strong environmental and economic outcomes by repurposing tyres into high quality materials for the local and global market.

You will have ownership of the full chain of custody of our clients recycling process, your good work will ensure repurposed waste tyres evade landfill and are used in road construction, athletic and playground surfaces, tile adhesives and moulded products, across the world.
- Your responsibilities will include:_
- Develop and implement the companies environmental and sustainability strategy
- Engage with, earn the trust and respect of the EPA
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with other government regulators, industry authorities, private and community stake holders
- Manage the environmental impact, approvals, and licences for all the company sites and activities
- Report to the National HSEQ Manager and support all aspect of environmental management; including monitoring & compliance, risk, and quality assurance.

**About you**
- The successful applicant must:_
- Have tertiary (to Cert IV level) or Bachelor of Engineering within Environmental, Science or Sustainability related discipline
- Experience in Environmental Management Systems, ideally ISO 14001
- Ability to interpret licence conditions, waste analytical results and provide advice to site staff and site management accordingly
- Ability to travel within Australia as per business requirements
- Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in an Environmental Management position in Australia, preferably within the Recycling or Manufacturing Industry.
