We’re driving bold improvements in health, safety, wellbeing and environmental outcomes across our national operations, and we need a proactive leader like you to help take us to the next level.### **About the Role**Reporting to the Head of Health, Safety & Environment Operations this newly created role will be pivotal in building and embedding a proactive, people-focused health and safety culture across our teams.You will act as a strategic partner to our operations leaders, leading initiatives, managing risk, supporting incident investigations, and coaching teams to continuously improve HSW performance across the business.**Key Responsibilities*** Drive implementation of TGE’s HSE strategy, plans, and wellbeing initiatives.* Provide expert guidance and practical support to operational leaders across multiple sites.* Investigate health, safety, and environmental incidents; identify root causes and ensure corrective actions are taken.* Build capability at all levels through training, mentoring, and hands-on partnership.* Contribute to broader sustainability initiatives in collaboration with the Environment and Sustainability team.* Lead continuous improvement in HSE processes, reporting, and compliance across the Intermodal, Linehaul, and Fleet teams.**About You**You are an HSE professional who thrives on creating safer, healthier workplaces and enjoys working in fast-paced operational environments. You’re known for your people-first approach, strong stakeholder relationships, and your ability to influence and drive results.**You’ll also bring:*** Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management or a related discipline.* Significant experience in a similar HSE advisor or business partner role, ideally in transport, logistics or heavy industry.* Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management practices.* Demonstrated experience in incident investigation and driving continuous improvement.* Excellent interpersonal, coaching and influencing skills.**About Team Global Express**Team Global Express (TGE) is an Australian-owned transport and logistics business delivering to Australia and New Zealand.
