The Application Administrator/Integrator will be responsible for the the following:
- Build and maintain internal technical documentation, manuals, policies, and processes.
- Understand how ServiceNow can enable the client to become more efficient and configure the platform to achieve measurable benefits.
- Drive business requirements for further systems integrations and process automation
- Maintain SLA (service level agreements), catalogue items and their associated workflows.
- Work closely with IT squads, business partners & the business to configure and improve core platform capabilities in accordance with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) best practices.
- Deliver incident, problem and service improvements in accordance to the agreed Service Level Agreements with internal business requirements
- Identify root causes of data inconsistency issues as part of problem management. This will entail:
- ability to replicate a problem
- knowledge of data schema design
- ability to use SQL scripts to interrogate data
- Prepare and maintain operational instructions and the knowledge base for known errors and solutions
- Liaise with key stakeholders in the business, vendors and contractors
- Actively identify problems and resolve issues as part of continuous process improvement within the system
- Evaluate potential solutions and make appropriate recommendations
- Deliver accurate and timely progress updates on all deliverables
- Recommend and contribute to process improvements
- Follow the established change management process
- Execute Agile/Scrum Development Life Cycle way of working and work collaboratively across the business, understanding the needs of various teams
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Undergraduate Degree or relevant tertiary qualifications
**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE**
- Experience with ServiceNow ITSM tools
- Qualifications in ITIL
- Practical, hands-on functional experience and knowledge in administering a business system
