You will be working as part of an experienced team, interacting with patients and staff to facilitate a seamless patient journey from the moment they walk in until their care is complete.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Welcome patients and visitors with a professional and friendly attitude.
- Manage appointments, patient registration, and scheduling with accuracy.
- Handle phone calls, inquiries, and appointment confirmations.
- Process Medicare, private health, and other billing procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Assist in maintaining a smooth patient journey and a well-organized reception area.
- Support administrative and clinical teams as required.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Previous experience as a medical receptionist (preferred but not essential).
- Proficiency in medical software systems (e.g., Best Practice, HotDoc).
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
