Field Service Technician

**About the role**:
Are you a talented appliance repair technician, or someone from a similar field, looking to make the next step up and develop a rewarding career with a great global organisation?

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Melbourne based field service technician with relevant transferrable skills to make the leap into medical equipment service and repair.

This exciting opportunity in for someone with the right attitude, skills, knowledge, and experience, to join our service team and really make a difference. Our technicians work in the crucial and exciting world of healthcare infection control, where our products and services ultimately help our customers save lives and improve patient outcomes.

As a valued member of our Healthcare equipment service team, you’ll be responsible for carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance servicing, on complex infection control machinery in hospitals, day surgeries and life science facilities located in metro and regional Victoria. You’ll report directly to the Victorian Service Team Leader and form part of our growing and vitally important team.

As well as service and maintenance responsibilities, we have major projects coming soon to the region, and you may additionally be involved in capital equipment installations, commissioning, and validation.

**Ideally you will preferably possess**:

- Strong technical skills and a solution-based approach
- Experience of mechanics, electronics, electrical motors or industrial washers/washing machines or dishwashers is preferable.
- Knowledge of pneumatics, steam or pressure valves would be beneficial
- A restricted electrical license
- A positive “can do” attitude with great communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to build and maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders
- The ability to work autonomously, and as part of a team
- A clear customer service focus
- Willingness to succeed.
- A clear understanding of what it means to “own the outcome”

This role may require some state-wide travel and on occasion overnight stays.
