Field Service Technician

We’re seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Melbourne-based team, servicing and maintaining complex medical equipment used in infection control across hospitals, day surgeries, pharmaceutical, and life science facilities.

This is a rare opportunity to transition into the healthcare industry with full training provided.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Perform safety and performance checks, preventative maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of infection control equipment, including Autoclaves and Washer Disinfectors
- Maintain equipment at key pharmaceutical and life science sites across Melbourne
- Liaise with customers at various sites across Victoria
- Provide phone support to schedulers and customers
- Support major projects including equipment installations, commissioning, and validation
- Some statewide travel and occasional overnight stays.

**What You’ll Bring**:

- Strong technical aptitude and a solution-focused mindset
- Experience with mechanics, electronics, motors, pneumatics, steam or pressure valves
- A restricted electrical license (highly regarded)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
- A proactive attitude and commitment to “owning the outcome”
