**Job Description Summary**: Seeking an experienced Field Service Technician in Melbourne, to join our growing business and work on market leading medication dispensing equipment.

**Purpose**: The Field Service Technician will support our VIC based customers in installing & commissioning new machines, fault diagnosis, repair and preventative maintenance of primarily the Automated Pharmacy Dispensing product, BD ROWA and BD Pyxis.

**Main Responsibilities**
- As BD representative, exhibit professionalism always.
- Plan, schedule and communicate Preventative Maintenance visits and breakdown visits to fit in with the customers’ requirements. Comply with Preventative Maintenance, service agreement and support SOP’s.
- Ensuring that systems and maintenance schedules in designated area are maintained
- Providing technical support to customers
- Machine commissioning and customer training
- Providing troubleshooting support to customer sites
- Participate in the after-hour’s roster of service, respond to all service orders received within the guaranteed response time, and properly close the orders per company policy.
- Maintain company confidentially in all dealings with customers and product knowledge.
- Responsible for ensuring safe work practices are always followed to assure the health and safety of oneself or other persons in the company.
- Responsible for documenting all work (accurate and up to date) carried out in relation to repairs, preventative maintenance, calibration, performance, and electrical safety testing.
- Responsible for maintaining records in accordance with company guidelines.

**Job Requirements**
- Electronics/Computing, Trades Certificate, Engineering Certificate/Diploma or Degree
- Strong technical knowledge, troubleshooting, interpersonal skills, as well as time management
- Ability to complete technical repairs and upgrades to electro-mechanical equipment
- Strong technical knowledge, troubleshooting, interpersonal skills, as well as time management
- Current driver’s license
- Working hours may vary at times due to customer demands and onsite requirements (after-hours and weekend)
- On call remote support required
- Available to work travel and work interstate as requested on short notice
