Seeking an experienced and empathetic practice manager to oversee office operations for a specialist surgeon.

**Your new company**
A leading private practice based in an inner-city suburb near Perth, is seeking an experienced and empathetic Practice Manager to effectively manage day-to-day operations for the clinic. You will be working alongside a dynamic specialist surgeon, supporting with administrative needs and delivering quality service to patients. This role will require you to work full-time hours, offered on a permanent basis with an attractive salary package.

**Your new role**
As the Practice Manager you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations of a specialist clinic. You will be responsible for many duties including;
- Front desk administration support, liaising with patients and contacts in a professional manner
- Manage the diary of a busy surgeon, organising travel, accommodation and appointments on their behalf
- Management and scheduling of appointments and surgeries for patients
- Creating and updating patient records as required
- Overseeing billing for patients using Medicare, Eclipse and EFTPOS
- Monitoring and ordering general office stationery and kitchen supplies
- Oversee general finances, recording payments and processing when required
- Assisting with adhoc administrative duties as required to support the surgeon

**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to be considered for this role you must have previously worked as a Practice Manager, ideally across the medical industry. In addition you will display:

- Strong organisation skills with competence in calendar and appointment management
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to be empathetic and patient
- The ability to be adaptable and use initiative around the workplace
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Fantastic written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in handling private health billing would be beneficial
