About the role The Chamber Procedure Officer provides extensive administrative support to the Chamber while the House is sitting through the preparation of documentation required for sittings and the distribution and management of Parliamentary documents. This position will deputise for the Manager, Chamber Support as required, while also providing support to the Assistant Clerk Procedure with community engagement events including Youth Parliament.
This position interacts with people on all levels, maintains confidentiality and acts with tact and diplomacy.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need exceptional administrative and record management skills, keen attention to detail and a passion for procedural research. You must also possess outstanding writing and editing skills to produce accurate and concise research reports in high-pressure and confidential environments.
