**About the role**

The Project Officer (Industry Development), leads the delivery of strategic initiatives and programs that support the growth and resilience of local businesses.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Design, develop and deliver programs/workshops to meet identified business needs, build capability and deliver the priorities of the economic development strategy.
- Promote and facilitate business and employment opportunities across the city, including networking with relevant key stakeholders such as business, economic and government relevant organisations.
- Facilitate the planning and delivery of business-focused events such as expos, seminars and workshops which contribute to the economic growth of the region.
- Respond to and manage enquiries related to business development, investment, and employment opportunities, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided.

** About you**

- Current Queensland “C” Class Driver’s Licence

- Demonstrated experience in business management, event management and marketing.

- Communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to support business stakeholders.
- Time management and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to be agile and work well under pressure.
- Ability to analyse data, identify trends and report these findings to Management.
- Belief in our values of safety and wellbeing, communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency and leadership

This is a permanent position, full time, with a salary commencing at $102,718 plus 12.5% superannuation.
