**Project Officer**

**Grade 7/8 -**$110,266 -$122,058 p.a.**+ superannuation and annual leave loading**

**Functions of the Allocations Team**
- The Allocations teams is one part of the District’s Executive and Business Support Team. The allocations team is specifically responsible for:
- Management of workflow of all correspondence into and out of the district and providing information to a variety of areas including the Executive District Director, Deputy Secretary, Secretary, NSW Ombudsman’s office, Complaints Unit, Reportable Conduct Unit and the Minister’s Office.
- Review and quality assure critical incident advice, financial briefing notes, NSW Ombudsman and Ministerial requests.
- Assist with the coordination of district special events
**What you’ll do**
As a Project Officer within the Allocations team
You will:
- Prepare reports, briefs and coordinate resources
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Guide and support district staff to achieve outcomes via support and mentoring
- Be confident in drafting materials to be distributed across the district
- Have excellent skills in written communication, preparing and reviewing ministerial and other correspondence
- Have a demonstrated ability to analyse and critique documentation and information from a variety of sources
- Have a basic knowledge of machinery of government and procedures and systems required for the management of ministerial correspondence, briefings and parliamentary material
- Have advanced skills in using Microsoft office including Outlook, Word and Excel, Miniapp and One TRIM
- Knowledge of the NSW child protection system including direct work with families will be highly regarded.

- National Criminal History Record Check in accordance with the Disability Inclusion Act 2014
- Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012
