**You will be required to**:
Provide sound procurement advice and services while developing effective relationships with internal clients, client groups, supporting agencies, commercial suppliers and staff through liaison, negotiation and consultation to successfully deliver a high-quality procurement service.
**You will assist**:
The Manager, Procurement and Contract Management
- assist in the development of and maintenance of a Procurement Framework that supports the principles of the Queensland Procurement Policy and other associated procurement related documents
- provide advice and assistance to department staff in undertaking procurement and purchasing activities relating to building construction and maintenance; infrastructure works; professional contractors and consultants
- exercise a Procurement Delegation on all Procurement activities
- assist in the co-ordination of contracts transactional expenditure disclosure processes
- provide input to Whole of Government procurement performance reporting requirements
- award and publish all managed and/or authorised contracts equal to or greater than $10,000 (inclusive of GST) on the Queensland Government Open Data Portal and (if necessary) on QTender
- co-ordinate and provide advice to procurement related communication and maintain updates relating to procurement content on departments Procurement intranet sites
- support and provide advice to departmental officers with respect to procurement capability and certification training
- undertake contract administration for departmental supply arrangements including publishing and updates Queensland Contract Directory, and
