- **Level 4 **on the Flourish Australia Enterprise Agreement (2018) equivalent to **$82,000p.a. + Super + Tax-Free Salary Packaging**
**About the Opportunity**:
The **Employment Coordinator, Mental Health Services (MHS)** will act as an expert resource to local Mental Health teams by providing support to team members in undertaking **relevant employment conversation, assessments, referrals** and **addressing potential barriers to employment and achieving goals**.
The **Employment Coordinator, MHS** will also engage in discussions with people accessing Flourish Australia's services about their aspirations and goals regarding employment whilst also assisting in** developing their Individual Employment Plan**.
As an **Employment Coordinator, MHS** you will:
- Interpreting all performance targets set by the Manager and assist sites in achieving these by working as part of the Flourish Australia mental health services team.
- Act as an expert internal resource to local mental health services teams by providing support to existing local staff in delivery of the employment supports.
- Engage local businesses and employers to source and create job vacancies for people accessing Flourish Australia’s services.Provide support, mentoring and other assistance ensuring the sustainability of people’s employment placements and to track all placements to effectively support people to meet their employment goals.
-Work with local site teams in assisting jobseekers to overcome both vocational and non-vocational barriers to employment.

**Selection Criteria**:
- Essential:_
- **A relevant degree OR a Relevant Certificate IV** OR relevant diploma as recognised by Flourish Australia. For example, training and assessment, employment services, or a health related discipline.
- A minimum of **three (3) years full-time experience working in a mental health or employment related field**, as recognised by Flourish Australia.
- Demonstrated strong communication and negotiation skills, and excellent interpersonal organisational skills.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and ability to fully utilise the relevant information management system(s)
- Knowledge of the challenges and barriers for people in the workplace who live with a mental health issue.
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
- Desirable:_
- A personal lived experience of a mental health issue.
- Demonstrated or direct related experience in Commonwealth-funded employment services, preferably inDisability Employment Services, Job Active or similar programs.
- Emerging knowledge of the local area and its health services and other community services.
