This well-known Not-for-profit is seeking a procurement officer to join their busy team on a 9-month fixed term contract. With offices based in various suburbs and flexible work from home options, this vacancy presents a fantastic opportunity to be involved in a thriving organisation in the Not-for-profit sector.
**Your new role**
In this role you will be providing procurement services, advice and support to both internal and external stakeholders. Duties of the role will include:
- Effectively source goods and services as required on behalf of all service units and operations.
- Communicate and support the adoption of our procurement policies
- Ensure procurement records are maintained accurately
- Initiate vendor management meetings
- Builds and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Represent the organisation positively internally and externally
- Complete all data entry and reporting duties as required
**What you’ll need to succeed**
- Previous procurement, buying or purchasing experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel & other Microsoft packages.
- Strong communication, influencing and customer service skills
- Well-developed interpersonal and written skills
- Demonstrated planning and time management skills
