**Your new role**

As a **Service Advisor**, you'll adeptly handle multiple responsibilities. Collaborating closely with our skilled Technicians, you'll oversee the timely completion of service appointments while proactively offering maintenance recommendations to keep our guests' vehicles performing optimally. Here are typical responsibilities associated with the role of a **Service Advisor**:

- Main point of contact for customers seeking automotive services
- Listen attentively to customers' concerns and inquiries, demonstrating empathy and understanding
- Conduct thorough consultations with customers to understand their vehicle issues and service needs
- Provide clear explanations of recommended services, repairs, and associated costs
- Offer additional maintenance suggestions based on the vehicle's condition and manufacturer recommendations
- Educate customers on the importance of regular maintenance and address any safety or performance concerns.
- Liaise with service technicians to convey customer concerns, vehicle symptoms, and specific service requests
- Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle during the service process

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the below:

- Proven experience in automotive service or a related field
- Maintaining a valid driver's license
- In-depth knowledge of vehicle systems and repair procedures
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills to understand customer needs and build strong relationships
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in using service management software and tools
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to diagnose and recommend appropriate solutions
- Dedication to providing outstanding customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Commitment to staying current with industry trends and continuously improving technical knowledge
