**Environmental Advisor**

Due to continued growth across Australia, Georgiou is seeking an Environmental Engineer / Scientist with relevant tertiary qualifications and experience to join our project-based team in Brisbane.

**What you’re good at**:
You’re eager and driven, someone with:

- 3+ years’ experience working in a similar industry
- A relevant degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or similar
- A positive working attitude and willingness to learn
- An understanding of QLD Environmental Guidelines and Legislation
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills which enable you to assist in resolution of client and key stakeholder concerns.

**What you’ll do (but not limited to)**:

- ** **Manage Project start-up and delivery of relevant documentation - Construction Environmental Management Plan and Sustainability Management Plan
- Establish, deliver and review Project environment and sustainability objectives and targets
- Manage onsite environmental systems to meet legislative and client requirements and expectations
- Carryout regular site inspections to ensure ongoing compliance with site and company management plans
- Auditing, amending and implementation of Construction Environmental Management Plan and Sustainability
- Management Plan
- Field based monitoring to assist site staff in identifying risks and opportunities to deliver an environmentally compliant work environment.
- Consult and communicate environment and sustainability information with business units, project teams, subcontractors, clients, industry and government agencies
- Contributing to the gathering of data and reporting on environmental and sustainability reporting
- Report on environment and sustainability incidents/non-conformances, data gathering and action closeoutAid in the delivery of ISC rating where applicable
