**Your role**
Join a dynamic and fast paced team that delivers rewarding and meaningful events to the NSW public. In this role you will coordinate, plan and deliver events that make a difference.
**What you’ll do**
As part of the Events team, you will contribute to the planning and design of public and departmental events that promote the policy priorities of DCJ, inform and influence the community and support and enhance the Department's reputation among key stakeholders.
You’ll manage events and projects, including developing and monitoring project plans, coordinating resources, and monitoring budgets to ensure event and project milestones are met and consistent, high quality outcomes are achieved.
You'll work as part of a team of 5, working collaboratively with team members on larger projects and leading others, you will also work closely with policy and communication teams. DCJ is a flexible workplace,
**What we’re looking for**
- Excellent project management and organisational skills within the context of large-scale major events.
- Be able to work effectively in a high-volume work environment with competing priorities and deadlines, and as an active member of a collaborative team.
- Be solutions and customer service focused being able to communicate and consult effectively to manage relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
