HealthShare NSW has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Permanent position of Events Officer. The Events Officer provides high-quality administrative and project management assistance to support the Creative Experiences team in delivering projects, events, and other program initiatives to achieve strategic outcomes.

**About the opportunity**

This position will support the Creative Experiences team's initiatives and projects by providing a range of administration and event tasks relating to their delivery, including preparing event databases, webpages, registration sites and venue research.

This role is also responsible for:

- Developing documents and maintaining business systems and processes that deliver efficient administrative support to the Creative Experiences team.
- Preparing and maintaining documentation for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes to meet internal and external requirements.
- Contributing to the research, analysis and reporting on key initiatives to determine effective strategies and continuous improvement.
- Building and maintaining effective working relationships to influence decision making, achieve business outcomes and sharing information with key stakeholders.
- Assisting in developing marketing collateral to support various internal and external initiatives.
- Undertaking any other administrative tasks as specified by the Creative Experiences Lead.

**How to apply**

**Targeted Questions**

- Provide an example demonstrating how you use initiative to progress and deliver on either your own or your team projects. In your example, highlight the situation, how you used initiative and the outcome.

You will be asked to complete a psychometric assessment (e.g., personality and cognitive abilities assessments) in the recruitment process for this position.

**Vaccination Requirements**

This is a NSW Health Category B position.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. Please provide proof of vaccination if available.
