Altona North, Australia Blackshaws Road Pharmacy Full time

Blackshaws Road Pharmacy is currently seeking a Full-time or Part time Pharmacy Assistant(s) to work across various shifts (including weekends).

Experience in the dispensary and webster packing is desirable but not essential.

Duties include providing basic OTC healthcare advice, and assisting in services such as COVID-19 vaccinations.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all in-store products
- Identify and meet customer needs for over the counter products
- Provide expert advice to customers on product features, benefits and side effects
- Maintenance of stock and participation in stocktakes
- Other general duties to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the pharmacy

To excel in this role you will need:

- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate with a variety of people
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to promote in-store activities and programs
- A willingness to undertake training
- Pharmacy or retail experience (preferred)
- Previous cash handling experience (preferred)
- Formal pharmacy S2/S3 training
- Dispensary Technician and/or Webster Packing experience (an advantage)
- Community Pharmacy Cert II or III (an advantage)
