**About the Role**

We are seeking a **Casual Pharmacy Assistant** with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for customer care to join our team. This role suits someone with previous **retail pharmacy experience**, who enjoys connecting with people and takes pride in maintaining a well-presented, engaging front of shop.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Customer Service Excellence**: Provide friendly, attentive service and helpful advice on over-the-counter and front-of-shop products.
- **Merchandising & Presentation**: Assist with product displays, shelf management, ticketing, and seasonal merchandising to create a clean, attractive, and easy-to-navigate store layout.
- **Sales & Point of Sale**: Operate the register accurately, handle transactions efficiently, and assist customers with product selection.
- **Pharmacy Support**: Work closely with pharmacists to support prescription handling and daily workflow.
- **Stock Control**: Receive, unpack, and replenish stock, ensuring accurate stock rotation and inventory checks.
- **General Housekeeping**: Maintain a tidy and professional store environment.

**What We’re Looking For**
- **Retail Pharmacy Experience**: Minimum 1 year of experience in a pharmacy or similar retail environment.
- **Strong Interpersonal Skills**: A genuine people-person who can build rapport and create a welcoming experience for every customer.
- **Merchandising Experience**: Confident in setting up displays, maintaining store presentation, and managing product layouts.
- **Reliability & Initiative**: A proactive team player who takes pride in their work.
- **Attention to Detail**: Accurate, organised, and careful when handling prescriptions and stock.
- **Excellent Communication**: Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills.
- **Qualifications**: S2/S3 Certificate required; Certificate II (or higher) in Community Pharmacy preferred.
