We are currently seeking 2 x Track Coordinators for an established Track and Rail team for a well-known mining organisation.

These are true long-term career opportunities. The initial scope of work is for around 3 years, but is likely to be ongoing, meaning you can make this a real career move. There is also potential for permanency further along the way.

Both of these roles are FIFO to Port Hedland and have various roster options available. That can include 11/10 or 2/1 or 8/6 depending on your preference. Both roles are offering excellent hourly rates, and exceptional working conditions on site.

This team is responsible for executing large-scale capital and operation expenditure track works including track renewal/reconstruction (plain line, turnouts, cross overs), re-rail & stress management and rail civil works.

You'll be reporting into the Track Supervisors and your role will be a combination of Track Coordination and assisting the supervisors themselves. Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Provide input into the planning and coordination of track works
- Monitor and manage contractor's/sub-contractor's compliance with site access requirements.
- Prompt completion of supporting and reporting documentation and 1SAP administration.
- Monitor work progress and contractor resource capability and capacity.
- Confirm works are constructed to contractual requirements and timelines including adherence to RFQ/SOW and authorising of ITPs.
- Maintain accurate records of various contractor's personnel and equipment on site to enable timely and accurate reports

In terms of your background, you'll ideally have:

- Experience in project coordination of works, ideally in the track or rail industry (but that's not essential - we are open to your industry background)
- Good communication, interpersonal and people management skills with a range of audiences.
- Computer literacy with Microsoft suite, 1SAP and planning systems.
- Good planning skills and the ability to oversee projects to successful completion.
- Administration and prioritisation including time management capability.
