**Role Overview**:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated **Accounting Manager** to join our team. In this role, you will lead and manage a team of accountants across multiple locations, oversee client engagements, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services. **About the Role**:
Reporting directly to the Director, your job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including financial reporting, compliance, and client deliverables.
- Lead a team of accountants, providing mentorship, training, and performance feedback to ensure high standards of work.
- Manage a portfolio of clients, including small businesses, corporations, and individuals, delivering tailored accounting and advisory services.
- Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and other financial documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on financial and business matters.
- Assist in business development efforts, including client acquisition
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and industry trends to provide informed advice to clients and the team.
You must have:
- CPA or CA designation (or equivalent)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years minimum of experience in public practice accounting, including minimum 3 years of managerial responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools, such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
