**The Opportunity**:
Our work plays a vital role in assisting the Registrar and the Australian Government to maintain and improve the corporate governance and financial management of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander corporations, leading to real outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

We’re looking for someone to contribute to all the work of the section, however the main focus of the job is to coordinate events for people from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander corporations centred on building capacity in corporate governance and financial management, and achieving other strategic priorities.

The role includes:

- Contributing to and evaluating strategies for strengthening corporate governance in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander corporations
- Planning events
- Identifying and engaging presenters and facilitators
- Contributing to the design, development and evaluation of event materials and activities
- Managing event logistics, including in person, virtually and using a hybrid model
- Analysing and reporting on the participation and engagement at events
- Promoting events and assisting people to register
- Following procedures as appropriate, including record creation and management.
