**About the role**
This is a rare opportunity to secure a key executive leadership role within a reputable organisation with an enviable suite of established energy products and positioned to take advantage of future growth prospects. Reporting to the General Manager of Kleenheat and sitting on the Kleenheat Executive Leadership Team, the Commercial Manager - Kleenheat is responsible for leading a direct team of more than 100 employees who work across five key functions, supporting the success of the whole organisation.
You’ll be accountable for team engagement and fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, challenging the status quo, and providing financial acumen and analytical insights to drive efficiencies and operational excellence.
**The Commercial Manager - Kleenheat, will be accountable for**:
- Partner with the business to develop and deliver a portfolio of value-adding sales and operational transformation initiatives aligned to the strategic direction of the business.
- Identifying and evaluating new commercial and business opportunities to support business growth and advising on the financial implications of management decisions.
- Leading the delivery, development and continuous improvement of customer service throughout the Kleenheat customer service and credit teams and reduce cost to serve.
- Providing insights from the preparation of regular financial reporting tracking performance against budgets and strategic plans.
- Creating a high level of employee engagement and a high performance team environment.
- Upholding and demonstrating visible HSE leadership having an uncompromising focus on the safety of people and environmental performance.
- Effective stakeholder engagement and management.
**Our minimum requirements for this role are**:
- Tertiary qualifications in a Business-related discipline.
- Substantial relevant experience in a commercial management role.
- Strong leadership, people management and audience-adaptable verbal and written communication skills to manage and mentor team resources and key management and stakeholder engagement.
- High degree of commercial acumen including understanding of financial evaluation methodologies.
- Ability to think strategically, through a creative, and analytical lens that will drive practical approaches to problem solving and conflict management.
- Well organised and able to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
- Experienced in implementing systems and process improvements and a natural curiosity to know more and to continuously improve.
- Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously to achieve the company's operating objectives through a proven track record of delivering results both strategically and operationally.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and influence change.
