The Role of the People and CultureManager
The People and Culture Manager will serve as a Business Partner and provide on-the
- ground support on Human Resources (HR) issues affecting, the School of Veterinary
Medicine (SVM), TAHMU (The Animal Hospital at Murdoch University) and Farms. As a
people and culture professional this role will assess and anticipate people-related needs,
and through collaborative partnerships across the area deliver value-added service to
management and employees.

**About the work area**
The People and Culture team is an integral part of the business strategy and decision
- making process focusing their efforts on strategic and operational programs and
services that support staff and organisational objectives. We develop partnerships
based on trust and integrity to foster excellence, engagement and fairness, as we work
to strengthen the
University’s ability to recruit and retain high-quality staff and develop a culture that
encourages and supports academics and professional staff to reach their full potential.
This particular role will focus on TAHMU and the Farms and the complexity surrounding
supporting an operation that runs a commercial operation that runs 24/7, whilst heavily
involved with the Veterinary School of Medicine at the university.
