**The Opportunity**:
Due to growth we're excited to partner with Morphettville to find a Sales Manager with multi-venue operations knowledge, strategic thinking and strong leadership skills to grow the business.

This role reports to the Head of Commercial Operations and will oversee the day-to-day management of the sales team, incorporating the Business Development Managers and Event Co-ordinators.

**Key Duties**:
You will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, with a primary focus on expanding our client base. Additionally, you'll play a vital role in coordinating conferences and events while fostering strong relationships with both new and existing clients.

Your role will also include:

- Providing strong leadership to the sales team and driving a high performing culture
- Formulating a comprehensive sales plan that includes short-term and long-term objectives, sales forecasts and budgets
- Maintaining a competitive edge through market and competitor analysis
- Working with the Executive team on wider business and strategic initiatives
- Management of financial reports and P&L
- Developing strong relationships with key customers and foster partnerships that lead to ongoing opportunity for the business

**About You**:
We are seeking an energetic go-getter and high performer with demonstrated experience in a similar role, capable of driving growth in sales and client acquisition.

You will have:

- Proven relevant experience within sales, ideally within the MICE and/or hospitality sector
- Excellent experience in leading high performing teams and achieving outcomes
- Ability to identify customer needs and develop long term strategic relationships
- High level financial acumen and experience managing sales budgets and achieving targets
