**The role**:
The Environmental Management System (EMS) Specialist will be responsible for leading and coordinating the implementation and improvement of South East Water’s (SEW’s) EMS.

You will also be responsible for the EMS improvement plan, reviewing and updating existing documentation, and the ongoing transition into SEW’s new digital platform. Additional responsibility will be to review and revise the EMS, to ensure that it considers local risks and controls, changes to legislation and obligations, training requirements, appropriately supports the management of incidents, and clearly defines owners and accountabilities of risk.

**Who are you?**:
You will have a high level of environmental technical skills and must have extensive Management System experience.

In addition, you will have:

- Proven experience in a similar position
- 7 years of technical or scientific experience, ideally within utilities or water industry
- Previous experience in audits
- Lead or been involved in an improvement management project.
- Strong communication skills - written and verbal.
- Ability to influence and negotiate with various groups and levels of stakeholders.
- Project management skills, including an ability to scope, plan and collaborate with team members.
- Proven track record of driving change in an organisation.

- Remuneration of between $109,104 - $121,370 plus superannuation, depending on level of experience
