**The Organisation**

Our client is the peak Aboriginal organisation in the NSW child and family welfare sector. They are an Aboriginal community controlled organisation, a not for profit and are leaders in working with their members to drive down the over representation of Aboriginal children in out of home care.

**The Role**

As the Facilitator Cultural Connections, you will be responsible for delivering high quality Aboriginal cultural workshops and training programs across New South Wales in line with the expectation and requirements of the target group.

Reporting into the Manager, Learning and Development Centre, you will also assist the team in identifying additional culturally appropriate training programs.

This is a permanent part time opportunity working 15 hours per week. It is desirable that you are located in the Sydney area and can work from the Marrickville office.

**About You**

You will be a natural presenter with strong connection to and understanding of Aboriginal culture and the issues facing the Aboriginal sector.

Bringing with you 2 years’ of presentation or facilitation experience, you are a strong team player with a can-do attitude. You have high quality presentation skills and are able to deliver training to your participants in an interactive and engaging way.

It is highly desirable that you hold a TAE04116 or have a willingness to obtain this while employed with AbSec.
