We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Community Engagement Coordinator to join our Public Affairs team.

The Community Engagement Coordinator will help support the development and delivery of a robust program of community and stakeholder engagement as Melbourne Airport enters its next phase of growth.

With the aviation and travel sector booming, on top of major projects that will underpin the future growth and development of Melbourne Airport and Victoria as a whole, now is a very exciting time to join

**Key responsibilities**:
The role's duties and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

- Delivering strong and successful community engagement programs, including for major capital projects such as the third runway and airport rail
- Developing and managing a program of regular community events, including attending those which are mainly held on a weekend
- Developing strong networks and knowledge of key community and stakeholder groups
- Tertiary qualifications in engagement, communications or journalism
- Minimum two years’ experience in engagement or corporate communications, including in the development and implementation of engagement plans to support major infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated experience in strong stakeholder management, preferably in complex operating environments
