**The role**:

Based in the Research, Development, & Innovation Team, the Innovation Manager will work collaboratively across South East Water (SEW) to improve the culture, capability, processes, tools and outcomes for Innovation. SEW’s research, development and innovation portfolio attempts to predict, understand and react to medium and long-range risks and opportunities for the sector, purposefully pursuing innovation opportunities, such as devices and sensors, machine learning and artificial intelligence, nature-based alternative water solutions, climate change, waste and resource recovery, energy, contaminants, and customer behaviour change to name a few.

The Innovation Manager will support all parts of the business to build the internal capability for innovation and translate business and customer insights into experiments that demonstrate value and can be further explored and ideally scaled up.
