Job Description Summary
The primary purpose of this role is to support the Peninsula Link Contract with compliance with the contract, standards and management systems and to drive innovation initiatives in key areas
About the Role
Key responsibilities
- Manage the document management system to maintain compliance with contract requirements, standards, policies and procedures.
- Update contract documents, including project plans, as required by the Contract.
- Maintain a register of the current status of all contract related documents.
- Support the Project Commercial Manager with Vendor management and compliance, including preparation of checklists to audit contractor compliance.
- Support the Project Commercial Manager and other team members with purchasing requirements, effective purchasing processes, tendering etc.
- Be the Champion for key innovation initiatives for the team, including diversity and inclusion and sustainability. Prepare action plans and monitor achievements against targets.
- Monitor the achievement of Indigenous targets, including Indigenous spend.
- Support the Project Commercial Manager with risk management processes and tracking actions.
- Monitor compliance with non-maintenance and operational KPIs, in particular water quality monitoring.
- Provide specialist EQ guidance to line managers, and employees.
- Develop and implement practices that improve EQ performance.
- Presents a professional and ethical image to Client, subcontractors, consultants and subordinates.
- Create strong, collaborative working relationships with stakeholders, sub-contractors and other groups.
Experience required
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and document control.
- Experience working in an operational team with structured processes.
- Excellent computer skills and good working ability with Microsoft tools.
Qualifications required
- Desirable - Tertiary qualification in a business or engineering related field.
- Minimum of a diploma in a business or engineering related field.
- Ideal - qualification in a systems related field
Competencies required
- Enthusiasm to champion social procurement and development initiatives.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to work proactively with external stakeholders and maintain strong relationships.
- Understanding of management systems and processes.
- Systematic and detailed approach for record keeping.
- Familiarity with contract requirements.
