Spot On Hose and Fittings Pty Ltd are looking for a workshop assistant to help in a variety of roles within our Beresfield workshop.

In this role, a background within hydraulics is preferred, however it is not mandatory. Similarly, a background in MYOB or similar programming is preferred, but again not mandatory. You will however need to have a very strong understanding of how to use a computer in it's basic functions, and be open to learning how to navigate MYOB.

You will be required to perform the following tasks on a day-to-day basis.
- Provide quotations electronically to customers
- Give and take phone calls in relations to purchase orders, incoming goods etc.
- Enter purchase orders (via MYOB, on Excel etc)
- Manufacture Hydraulic Hoses
- Organise and pick (count) parts off the shelf to fulfil purchase orders
- Drive to and from different set sites doing customer deliveries, stock take etc. Any normal car charges (such as fuel) will be reimbursed if required. A valid drivers license is mandatory for this job.
- Operate a forklift (if you do not have a current forklift licence that is fine, but you will be required to sit the course before starting. We can help organise this if needed.)
- Other computer tasks that are needed within our business (these will be taught as needed)
- Other tasks not listed, where reasonable.

You will be expected to work at least 75 hours per fortnight (either 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday, or 7:30am - 4pm Monday to Friday with a rostered RDO once a fortnight)

In regards to travel, the majority of the time travel will only be completed within work hours, but you may be required to drive up to 6 hours on some days. This is unlikely for the majority of the days, and if required it will happen infrequently. If extra travel is required for work purposes outside of work hours, you will be reimbursed accordingly.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 76 per week
