Daracon currently have the need for experienced a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team based at our Beresfield workshop on a permanent afternoon shift basis.

What's in it for you.

  • Up to $50 per hour plus 22.5% shift loading (depending on experience)
  • Guaranteed overtime
  • $2600 per year tool allowance
  • Permanent position Monday to Friday (2pm to midnight)
  • 12 roster days per year
  • Working on a modern fleet of trucks and trailers in a modern workshop
  • Respectful, Safety focussed non-retail work environment.

To be considered for this opportunity you will have or possess:

  • Relevant motor vehicle tradesperson qualifications.
  • Demonstrated experience working within the road transport industry.
  • A MVRIC licence or can obtain.
  • Proven experience working within a team environment.
  • A strong commitment to a 'safety first' environment
  • Volvo truck, Auto Electrical or Hydraulic experience would be highly regarded.
  • Current Heavy Vehicle Drivers licence (HR or better) an advantage.

This role will see you reporting to the Workshop Supervisor and working with a highly motivated team.
