We are currently seeking an experienced, dedicated, flexible and student-focused trainer qualified to deliver and assess:
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
As the Workplace Trainer, you are the content expert and play a crucial role in the development and delivery of industry relevant and student-focused quality learning, teaching and assessment to our face-to-face and online students, in line with industry standards, legislative requirements and Lead Institute’s policy and quality systems. Travel to our off-campus delivery locations / workplaces will be required and may include an occasional overnight absence from base
**Mandatory Requirements**
- Possession of training and assessment credentials:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
(TAE40122 / TAE40116 or TAE40110 with TAELLN401 and TAEASS502)
- OR a diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education,
- Vocational competency at least to the level being delivered and assessed - either by holding the competency to be delivered or demonstrating equivalence
- Diploma of Education and Care or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience training and assessing within an RTO across all modes of delivery, using a variety of assessment methodologies.
- Evidence of undertaking professional development to demonstrate:
i. current industry skills and in-depth content knowledge relevant to the training and assessment to be delivered
ii. current knowledge and skills in vocational training, learning and assessment including competency-based training and assessment.
- Current working with children check Blue Card (employment engagement is dependent on approval for Blue Card)
- Current Queensland driver's license
**Skills and Knowledge**
- Experience designing, implementing, and reviewing training products.
- Ability to initiate, plan and coordinate learning activities and create engaging learning environments.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
- Well-developed computer skills including use of Office 365 (SharePoint, Teams), LMS (aXcelerate) and other educational technologies to support learning.
- Working knowledge and understanding of VET and RTO administrative processes with a strong commitment to maintaining the integrity of the training process.
- Experience delivering VET in schools desired but not essential
- Previous experience in new course design and set up in line with training package and legislative requirements **highly desirable.**
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $30.94 - $52.88 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
