New South Wales Energy Coal consists of the Mt Arthur Coal open-cut energy coal mine in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, Australia. The site produces coal for international customers in the energy sector.

**About the Role**:
We are seeking experience Specialist Capability Development and Training talent to joint our Mt Arthur Coal CHPP & Infrastructure team.
Reporting to CHPP & Infrastructure Manager, your accountabilities include:
- Provide specialist advice and knowledge to assist in the development of leaders and team to deliver high performance through the empowerment of our people.
- Provides technical expertise in the strategy and development of the culture and capability learning programs, products and systems for the department.
- Support & focused on the training and assessment of operational roles and activities and includes to coordinate and maintain the training matrix for all of the CHPP & infrastructure 24/7 workforce personnel.
- Actively participate in translation of strategy into operational plans for capability learning.
**About You**:
- A current Trainer and Assessor qualification (mandatory).
- Experience working within the coal industry is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within an operational environment and information analysis and interpretation skills.
- Intermediate level business acumen, stakeholder engagement and governance & assurance knowledge.
- Foundational skills in strategic decision making, presentation / facilitation and vendor customer management.
**Location**:
This is a full-time, permanent, residential position, based in Muswellbrook NSW and working a Monday-Friday roster.
As these roles are residential, successful applicant will be required to live within a safe distance from our mine site, aligned with our fatigue management policies. **Please note accommodation and travel is not provided for these positions.**
