We now have an exciting new opportunity at Lendlease for a Consultant, sustainability specialist with a genuine passion for driving change and a desire to make a real impact. This role will be part of a team guiding and developing solution to optimise building environmental performance and providing technical advice across our current and future projects.
The Role
This role will see you join the Integrated Solutions team working from our HQ office in Sydney - Barangaroo. Integrated Solutions is part of the operating model of Lendlease that provide core technical expertise to the businesses and projects to win work and execute successfully. Our core purpose is to combine our expertise, knowledge, experience and ingenuity to assist Lendlease to make the most of its opportunities now and into the future. As part of the national sustainability group you will have several responsibilities in this dynamic and challenging position:
- Identifying and assessing opportunities to improve environmental sustainability for projects and at a portfolio / business level- Guiding the implementation and delivery of rating tool requirements and targets to support certification across numerous projects- Participate in post occupancy performance verification and optimisation to validate theory against real world performance and identify opportunities for enhancements- Support senor team members in the peer review of building design, reporting and commitments
What You Need- Tertiary qualification in engineering, building services and/or a building related discipline.- Relevant experience in environmental sustainability- Consultancy experience within the property & construction industry- Experience with rating tools such as Green Star, NABERS and WELL and associated requirements through design, construction and commissioning of projects- Some experience in the use of building simulation techniques and software to inform and guide design solutions.- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, a passion for sustainability balanced with pragmatism- Strong communication skills with an ability to work in an integrated team environment and build relationships with multiple stakeholders

You will thrive on engaging with numerous stakeholders across the Lendlease businesses with the support of a close-knit team to solve industry leading challenges. You will be self-motivated and able to prioritise several projects simultaneously.
