**Our sustainability team work with organisations to help them manage the risks and opportunities associated with ESG and non-financial issues, develop and assess related strategies, and to enhance all aspects of ESG and sustainability reporting and communication. We also provide assurance services for all forms of non-financial reporting and disclosures to enhance the credibility of reported information. At KPMG we believe that business has a vital role to play in solving social and environmental problems.
Projects cover a broad range of topics including ESG Risk, EHS performance & compliance auditing, reporting strategy and assurance, sustainability strategy, target and KPI development, impact quantification, sustainability in supply chains, responsible investing, carbon farming and climate change resilience, environmental mine closure, circular economy, environmental technical reviews, and policy & guideline development.

**Your Opportunity

Examples of our current engagements:
- Assurance of emissions and energy reporting across a range of industry sectors
- Providing assurance over sustainability reporting and NGER submissions
- EHS compliance auditing for large infrastructure and mining projects
- Assisting clients to assess the material sustainability risks for their businesses
- Supporting clients with developing sustainability strategies
- Water footprint development and maximising water efficiency, re-use and recycling
- Supporting clients to develop carbon farming projects
- Circular Economy
- Carbon neutrality assessments
- Climate modelling
- Climate risk assessment
- Emissions reduction strategies
- Built environment and embedded carbon assessments

**Your Experience
- Experience in the provision of sustainability services (as a consultant or in an industry/government role)
- Demonstrable experience in one or more of the listed sustainability themes and topics
- Those with accounting backgrounds are also strongly encouraged to apply.
**Qualifications
**We are looking for applicants that have Tertiary qualifications in environmental or natural sciences, including engineering, with an environmental or science focus or an equivalent degree. A Master's degree will be favourably considered.
