A great opportunity now exists at Tech Data ANZ as the Cloud BU Leader specifically for Microsoft.
**Job Purpose**:
In this role, you will has an overall responsibility for maximizing the sales from specified major customers creating the highest return for both Tech Data and the vendor. Responsibilities will extend to overseeing the Microsoft Cloud operations within the company and build ways for future growth of the vendor. This will include taking responsibility for profitability, strategy, forward planning, staffing and efficient running of all areas under these general descriptions.
**The key responsibilities** of this role can be summarised as follows:
- M aximize the profit outcome for Microsoft as the vendor.
- Strategizing the go-to-market (GTM) & strategies for the sales function.
- Provide Sales Support through having a thorough knowledge of the technical features, primary selling benefits, competitive landscape and Microsoft's strategy.
- Enable a regular flow of information to the sales team so that they are aware of the current product set and are capable or representing this to their customers.
- Managers and engages closely with Microsoft both commercially and interpersonally.
- Formulates suggestions on how to make an optimum use of the Tech Data resources.
**To be successful in this role** you will need the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience preferred.
- Post Graduate Diploma / Master's Degree highly regarded.
- High end certifications across Microsoft Cloud.
- Must have minimum ten (10) years of experience in similar role/s / Industry.
- Demonstrates excellent people skills and interpersonal interactions.
- Has good judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Able to demonstrate business and commercial acumen.
- Consistently achieves the desired operational performance goals and demands quality outcomes from direct reports and others.
- Demonstrates professionalism and models the company's culture in line with the core values.
- Demonstrates high integrity levels.
- Superior communications skills and ability to establish strong relationships with internal and external customers/ vendors.
- Proven ability to work independently and effectively and under high pressure.
