**Your Role**

Joining the Digital Experience team in Retail Insurance Australia (RIA) as Digital Product Owner (Lead), you’ll play a pivotal role in leading a matrix team to orchestrate the delivery of strategic digital initiatives.

You’ll collaborate with key stakeholders and negotiate work effectively to deliver exceptional business and customer outcomes through digitally delivered change. The role is responsible for uplifting agile/hybrid delivery capability as well as ensuring the delivery of work, milestones, and identified benefits.

Day to day, you’ll prioritise the Squad backlog in alignment with objectives and collaborate with core partners to refine and manage delivery. You’ll develop and drive the end-to-end delivery plan, and oversee resource allocation, financial tracking, milestones, and risk management.

Leading the squad, you'll manage agile/hybrid activities such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, while fostering continuous improvement and growth in agile maturity. Additionally, you’ll ensure transparency in progress, manage interdependencies across squads, and collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure alignment with business requirements and successful initiative completion.

**This is a full-time 12-month fixed term contract opportunity with hybrid working conditions based in Gadigal Country (Sydney).**

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally meet the below criteria:
- Previous experience in digital program delivery and project management.- Experience in Agile methodology or SCRUM certified- Demonstrated experience leading high performing matrix teams in the delivery of work.- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability in managing complexity, negotiation trade-offs and navigating ambiguity and responding to change.- Strong influencing skills across various levels of the organisation and demonstrated experience in building partnerships and working collaboratively to deliver key programs of work.- Experience with creating a continuous improvement environment aligned with agile ways of work
