Senior Product Owner

We're partnering with a Sydney-based software consultancy known for delivering high-impact projects for startups and established brands alike. With a tight-knit team of around 25 people, they move fast, value collaboration, and create space for their people to make a real difference.

About the role

As Senior Product Owner, you'll lead the product vision across multiple projects, connecting the PO team with Engineering and ensuring smooth delivery from concept to launch. You'll guide, mentor, and support other Product Owners while managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations. This is a strategic and hands-on role where leadership, organisation, and communication are key.

What you'll do

• Lead and mentor the Product Owner team, supporting their development and ensuring alignment with project goals
• Act as the bridge between clients, POs, and Engineering, ensuring clear communication and shared understanding
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to keep delivery on track
• Drive the product lifecycle, including planning, roadmaps, sprint management, and requirement prioritisation
• Facilitate workshops, client meetings, and product demos, translating feedback into actionable plans
• Review and provide guidance on user stories, wireframes, and scope documents
• Support operational oversight, including project setup, tracking progress, and resource allocation

You bring

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Project Manager, or similar role in a client-facing environment
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Experience delivering digital products, ideally web or mobile applications
• Solid understanding of development pipelines and agile workflows
• Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and learning
