Adviser, Community Partnerships

The Advisor is part of a small (3.0 EFT) team that takes a team-based approach to delivering effective projects and partnerships for the Hume Merri-bek Area. Reporting to the Manager, Community Partnerships the Advisor will lead on a number of initiatives which draw on their skills, expertise and development opportunities and which are aligned to the team workplan, and also provide the Manager with direct project support on larger and more complex initiatives.
The Advisor will forge and maintain relationships with key stakeholders from community organisations, local governments, colleagues across the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing as well as other government departments to support effective partnership-based approaches to deliver the team workplan.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach according to program requirements and policy settings.
- Contribute to a team-based approach to delivering the Community Partnerships workplan, demonstrating teamwork to drive initiatives you are accountable for and supporting a range of other initiatives on more complex projects.
- Provide authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders and respond to requests by developing detailed reports, briefs, and other material on various matters.
