DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Freight Forwarder, Export Air & Sea in Melbourne.

This role involves managing both Air and Sea Export activities within the department. This position requires overseeing the entire process of export consignments from the origin to their destination. As a customer-facing role, it includes coordinating bookings with both international and local carriers, as well as preparing all necessary export documentation in line with company policies and external regulations.

**Your typical day at DSV**:

- Collaborate with a team of Export specialists to ensure high-quality and accurate service for our clients.
- Manage the export workflow from initial customer service interactions to departure, adhering to Management directives, customer instructions, legislative requirements, and company KPIs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, service providers, and overseas colleagues.
- Resolve export-related issues in partnership with various stakeholders and team members.
- Accurately and promptly input data into Cargowise One.
- Calculate financial aspects, such as invoice costs, related to your files.
- Implement and monitor improvements in export processes.
- Assist the Senior Team Lead and Department Manager with daily activities and other assigned tasks/projects as needed.

**About You**:

- Hands-on experience in Ocean or Air Export.
- Solid understanding of the complexities and requirements within the export logistics field.
- Expertise in using CargoWise One to streamline operations and ensure efficient workflows.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative and detail-oriented with a focus on achieving exceptional results.
- A strong passion for the logistics industry and a commitment to delivering top-notch service.
