**PERSOLKELLY** is seeking an experienced Property Manager and Capital Program Officer to join a vibrant QLD Government team based in Brisbane CBD.

The team works with Queensland Government departments and agencies, and industry stakeholders to provide Queenslanders with better, safer and more sustainable places to live, learn and work.

**_In this position you will:_**
- Assist with the management of property programs and budgets associated with Government Employee Housing.
- Assist with the management and reporting on property related transactions including valuations, asset transfers, land tenure issues, native title assessments and subdivisions.
- Research and develop written correspondence, briefings, reports and information papers for departmental use as required.
- Source available properties by:

- Contacting and building relationships with real Estate Agent/s to identify off-market opportunities.
- Engage valuation services to ascertain current market valuation.
- Instruct and coordinate technical due diligence and legal services.
- Report writing detailing property information and investigations.
- Negotiate with Real Estate Agents to agree price and other terms for property.
- Coordinate land contract preparation and execution in conjunctions with legal officer.
- Attend program status meetings and report on project status.
- Maintain project status information using Microsoft Excel database.

**_The successful applicant will possess the following:_**
- Demonstrated prior relevant experience
- Flexibility in managing new and unexpected events and demonstrating judgement about when to escalate issues
- Ability to meet deadlines and report progress and any potential delays or issues which may impact on others
- Highly developed time management skills and attention to detail
