Government agency looking for a Capital Program Manager to assist with the department's property programs.

**Your new company**
Our client is a business unit within the Queensland Government who work across a range of new build, maintenance, and capital works projects. Due to a peak in workload and a healthy project pipeline, they are looking to add a Capital Program Officer to their Department to assist with management of property programs and budgets for housing projects.

**Your new role**
You will be responsible for managing and reporting on property related transactions including valuations, asset transfers, land tenure issues, native title assessment and subdivisions. You will develop briefings, reports, and other property documents, as well as reviewing properties in the open market through real estate resources and stakeholders. In addition, you will coordinate land contract preparation and execution and negotiate with real estate agents to ensure project guidelines and policies are being met

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role, you will need to the ability to manage property programs and budgets for a large-scale property portfolio. Therefore, you will ideally come from a background in property, with a background in property transactions, valuations, assets, native title assessments and real estate. You will also be able to coordinate land contract preparation and executions alongside a legal officer for advice. Given this role involves portfolio reports and data, sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is essential.

**What you'll get in return**
You will be offered an immediate start with an initial 6-month contract with the potential for extension. You will be offered a full-time temporary position banding an A05 rate + super. You will also have the potential opportunity to work from home.
