An amazing full time, 3-month Customer Service opportunity to work for a large council in the eastern suburbs
- Previous customer service experience in required
- Local Government experience is advantageous
- Call centre experience is essential

You will join a diverse team located in the eastern suburbs and be part of a team that puts emphasis on their service to members of the community. This role requires you to work together as a team to ensure that all inquiries are resolved with due diligence on the phone.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Supporting and maintaining a positive image of the Council in all communications with members of the public
- Liaise with other departments while performing back office secretarial and administrative tasks
- Providing high quality service to a high-volume Call Centre while contributing to the Key Performance Indicators required.

**To be successful you will have**:

- Experience in both face-to-face and high-volume telephone customer services.
- Local government experience is desirable
- Great communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to learn and take on changes with a positive attitude
